Adelaide:

New Carlton coach Mick Malthouse has played an early hand in Blues playing changes thrusting dashing play-maker Chris Yarran into midfield running duties in a practice match.

Collingwood:
While Nick Maxwell will captain Collingwood for a fifth straight season, the club has rewarded Dayne Beams with a major leadership role.

Essendon:
Bombers legend Tim Watson would be “absolutely devastated” if his son Jobe was stripped of his Brownlow Medal, as Essendon is engulfed by a drugs probe.
